I step out of bed and into the world of misty mountains and foggy forests. That's how my everyday, the last month or so has felt like. It's been totally rejuvenating.

A friend told me, that in the Japanese culture, there is such a thing called "forest bathing". She said she feels like she's been forest bathing after seeing my latest pieces. I searched online for what it meant and this is the definition: "Forest bathing, or shinrin-yoku, is simply spending time outdoors under the canopy of trees. In Japanese, “shinrin” means forest and “yoku” means bath, or immersing oneself in the forest and soaking in the atmosphere through the senses".

Painting these scenes totally make me feel the same way. I'm all in and get lost in the mist as my hand holds the brush and my brush meets the canvas.
